Tourism is everybody’s business.
At Kittitian Heartbeat, we believe tourism is everybody’s business. As our country’s primary industry, it’s a great source of economic growth — and a chance to share our island with the rest of the world.
The St. Kitts Tourism Authority — established under the St. Christopher Tourism Authority Act, No. 8 of 1999 — is the statutory body responsible for the development and marketing of St. Kitts as a premier tourist destination. We work alongside government, statutory partners and the private sector to grow the industry sustainably and to keep Kittitians at the centre of every visitor journey.
Meet the people behind the workAn island worth sharing.
To enhance the destination by offering a unique experience to both locals and visitors, and to establish St. Kitts as a premier destination among the warm-weather islands of the Caribbean.
Three Landscapes. Zero Crowds.
St. Kitts is where rainforest, mountain, and beach share the same day — and somehow, the same quiet. Hike through the rainforest before breakfast, catch volcano views by noon, and let the beaches pull you back down by sunset, sand warm underfoot and nothing left to do but breathe. It’s adventure when you want it, stillness when you don’t.
Promotion, development, and stewardship.
To provide for the promotion and development of tourism through the establishment of a National Tourism Authority — championing the island’s tourism economy through marketing, training, partnerships and stewardship.
Our work is rooted in keeping Kittitians at the centre of every visitor journey — because the island that takes pride in its people is the island visitors come back to.
We’re feeling the love.
Recent honours that reflect the work of our partners, stewards, and the island as a whole. The full archive lives with our communications team — these are a handful of recent highlights.
The faces of St. Kitts tourism.
